Professor Emeritus recognitio title
PROFESSOR EMERITUS ACADEMIC TITLE
The Professor Emeritus title shall be granted to the academic staff as a recognition of experience, knowledge, and scholarly contribution of the retiring academic staff.
The granting of academic title of Professor Emeritus is considered as an extraordinary title given to the academic staff who has given significant scholarly and teaching contribution to College ESLG.
The criteria for bestowing the title of Professor Emeritus upon an academic staff is the following:
1) The academic staff must be a full professor with at least seven years of work experience for the College upon being elected into the title of Full Professor;
2) The research academic staff must be at least a Scientific Councilor with at least seven years of experience for the College upon being elected into the title of Scientific Councilor ;
3) Deans of Faculty and rector;
The title of Professor Emeritus shall not be bestowed upon the academic staff with less than seven years of experience for College ESLG. The exception shall be made only for the academic staff with extraordinary scientific contribution to College ESLG.
