Quality program reviews

Numerous quantitative and qualitative reviews are performed for the study program during the operation of the program.

 

The following reviews of the program are conducted:

 

•    Annual program reviews performed against performance indicators (general, outcome, and process indicators). In this regard, the following annual reviews have been performed by the Quality Management Office and approved by Quality Commission of ESLG, in which students of ESLG are proudly and strongly represented. 

Subsequently, as a result of all these annual program reviews, the Three Year Program Review is performed, which focuses on the following themes:



 - Study profile and structure;
 - Methods of teaching and assessment;
 - Practical implementation;
 - Number of applicants in relation to offered places;
 - Program completion;
 - Grade distribution;
 - Availability of resources;
 - Availability of literature;



Finally, the Program Director/Head of Department makes conclusions and draws recommendations based on the quantitative analysis, which are finally approved by the Quality Commission of College ESLG, in which students are also represented.

 

 

An important quality assurance process that College ESLG conducts at program level is Learning Outcomes Achievement Self-Assesment conducted by each course bearer individually, in which each professor critically evaluates the extent to which they achieved course learning outcomes and program learning outcomes and in each self-assessment, they provide recommendations as how to improve the achievement of learning outcomes if they fall below the set standard.

In the event the study program is new, the Program Learning Outcomes Evaluation is conducted.

 

College ESLG acknowledges and recognizes the effort of professors who are being self-critical. 

 

In the event of the program already accredited and up and running, College ESLG conducts the Program Learning Outcomes Achievement Review in which the Head of Department draws conclusions about which program learning outcomes are not achieved as provided for by the standard and provides recommendations for addressing the identified drawbacks and challenges, which is distributed to each professor individually, which is further used by them when developing their learning annual development plans. The review is also used for quality improvement plan for achievement of program learning outcomes.

Further, the following reviews are performed:

 

- Bachelor program quality review based on student program evaluation;

- Bachelor program quality review based on staff program evaluation;

- Bachelor program quality review based on alumni evaluation;

- Bachelor program quality review based on industry evaluation; 

All these reviews become part of the Annual Program Self Evaluation Report based on internal standards of Quality Assurance Manual of College ESLG.

As a result of the Annual Program Self Evaluation Report based on Quality Assurance Manual of College ESLG, the Strategy for improvement is drafted supported by Annual Action Plan.
