Support mechanisms for internationalization
The following mechanisms are established at ESLG that support the cooperation with international education institutions, networks, and organizations:
• Dedication of resources to support the academic staff to initiate cooperation with international higher education institutions, networks, and organizations;
• Provision of incentives for academic staff to initiate and conclude the cooperation with international higher education institutions, networks, and organizations;
• The initiation and conclusion of agreements of cooperation with international higher education institutions is considered as being active in an international arena, which is a qualitative requirement under Regulation on Standards for Election into Higher Academic Titles of College ESLG for election into the title of Assistant Professor;
• Franchising opportunities for the academic staff who win research grants on behalf of College ESLG with serious international higher education institutions, networks, and organizations;
Logistical, human, and financial support is offered to the academic staff to develop the collaborative agreements with international community such as:
• Coverage of travel costs;
• Payment of per diem costs for the staff;
• Payment of accommodation costs;
• Provision of collaborative agreement templates;
• Training on international research grant application;
• Training in writing collaborative agreements;
