1. How much did studying at ESLG help you with employment?
Very much. ESLG College not only transfers knowledge but learning experience at ESLG is a pleasure due to modern teaching methods that create skills and competencies and do not only transfer knowledge in the form of concepts.
The main skills that have helped me the most are:
- The ability to solve problems due to learning based on case studies;
- Skills in finding information and critical analysis of a real problem to solve that problem through refined research skills;
- Skills of approach to solving a problem from the interdisciplinary point of view based on interdisciplinary activity as a unique method of teaching.
- Team work skills;
- Solving problems with high social and environmental ethics and accountability;
All these skills have helped me to be much ahead of other candidates, such as in the employment tests and interviews or even during probation period.
In the end, the Slovenian diploma also helped me a lot because the perception of the Kosovar private sector about the Slovenian quality of education is very positive.
2. Would you recommend your friend to study at ESLG?
Yes definitely. I have also studied at the University of Prishtina (Andi Belegu) but at ESLG the study load has been much greater in terms of pages to read for one week as opposed to learning with scripts at the University of Prishtina, however the pleasure of studying in modern form with case studies and with inspiring and not only informative professors has made my transition very successful both during my regular bachelor studies and master studies at the University Tor Vergata of Rome.
3. How many emails do you receive from ESLG now that you have graduated?
We receive many emails from ESLG which informs us about all the innovations, informs us about the latest scientific achievements in real estate management but also about various employment opportunities. ESLG is like a family. We also complete the alumni survey where our voice is taken seriously. Quality review based on alumni survey is a good indicator where all our recommendations are turned into a serious action plan for improvement of quality and into a development plan of the program especially in terms of skills that we see as key to a successful transition to an already limited Kosovo labor market.
4. Have you been called or contacted in writing by ESLG to ask if you are employed or about your status after graduation?
We have been asked many times and as a result ESLG College is one of the few institutions that makes public on the website the report on its alumni in terms of employment and pursuit of further studies for both the bachelor's and master's degree programs.
5. What are the differences between studying at ESLG and other European students?
In terms of skills there is no difference. In terms of teaching with modern methods there is no difference. ESLG College with some unique teaching methods and some unique courses makes the institution in terms of teaching quality to precede many universities in Europe and the US.
Interdisciplinary activity as a unique method where a social and business phenomenon is analyzed from several interdisciplinary perspectives where students are evaluated by a panel of experts and not a single professor makes this College unique in terms of teaching innovation. The method of interdisciplinary analysis of various social phenomena is one innovation and this innovation is used in the Finnish education system.
In terms of research skills and diploma theses quality there is no difference. The diploma theses of students of ESLG College are recorded in the Slovenian database of publications COBISS and if you read and compare the diploma theses of Kosovar students with those of Slovenian ones, there is no difference at all because the standards of quality applied are all the same.
6. What is the feeling of satisfaction about your studies at ESLG?
Great feeling. Feeling like belonging to one single family together with professors, other students and administrative staff makes the time spent studying a special experience. Inspiring and transforming professors have made us evolve into professionals with rare competitive advantages in the job market and be true leaders (agents) of change in the construction, real estate and cadastre industries. The sense of purpose that ESLG instills in us makes this institution unique.
