Assist. Prof. Dr. Veli Lecaj

Assistant Professor Dr. Veli Lecaj possesses 9 years of experience in teaching, consulting and research in the field of economics and business law and 16 years of experience in the field of public administration management.

Possesses sixteen years of experience in managing and administration of public institutions including experience with national and international NGO-s. Background includes nine years of teaching, few years of research, and 16 years of managing public institutions and consultancy.

Some of the selected professional highlights of Professor Veli has been presented below:
•    Management of own private business including the field of trade, consultation, accounting and procurement projects;
•    Team leader of the International NGO-s World Vison projects for the national community                                    
•    Director of the Institute  for social policy, leader of research projects related to social reforms and social problems in Kosovo;
•    Director of the CAS(central administration services) of the MLSW managing many projects from social issues, pension administration and pension reforms, labor and employment etc.;
•    Provision of advice to Kosovo Chamber of Commerce related to international relationship;
•    Head of the team  for preparation and organization of international conferences on diaspora investments in Kosovo held in Zurich, Frankfurt and New York;
•    Provision of advice to Association on life and property insurance in Kosovo;
•    Provision of advice to providing advice on joint property registration and property taxes in Kosovo
