AFTER GRADUATION

The energy sector in Kosovo represents a competitive advantage for Kosovo. The energy sector is a key resource for future economic development in Kosovo. According to the World Bank Doing Business Report 2014 for Kosovo, unstable electricity supply is one of the main obstacles to doing business in Kosovo.

Since the household buildings sector is one of the largest energy consumers in the country with 40 %, the energy savings in the buildings becomes a must if we want sufficient energy in Kosovo for supply and economic development. If we add to this the fact that the World Bank together with the Kosovo Government has adopted the project entitled Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Renewable Energy with total value of 31 million dollars, this makes the graduates more employable in the domestic and international labor market.

After the graduation you can win a managerial position in the energy sector, become a licensed energy manager in buildings, which position shall be mandatory according to the law in Kosovo, energy auditor but also you will be able to lead the projects in renewable energy in Kosovo and the region. You will also be able to work in the projects of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
